Emily Kane's Fundraiser

This year for my birthday, I feel blessed. Blessed to have a few jobs that support me through college. Blessed to have a kind and loving family surrounding me. Blessed to be healthy. Blessed to be able to give money to organizations like OUR rescue.

I want to spread awareness to help to join the fight against child trafficking and child slavery.

Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) rescue is a non profit organization that utilizes former CIA, Navy Seals, Special Agents etc. to research, strategize, rescue, and recover children who have been trafficked. They work with safe homes, medical facilities, therapy centers etc. to provide comfort and support to the survivors. OUR follows the perpetrators all the way to conviction to make sure they don't traffic again.

Their website shares stories from some of the survivors of child trafficking, and once you read the stories, you will realize how much the little joys in life matter and how much they mattered to these children in their darkest moments. Make the little joys count during this time in our world!
