The Underground Railroad Painting
"One of the things that I try to accomplish, is to articulate an idea that is sometimes too difficult to put into words. I'm painting about an issue and that's modern-day slavery"- Jon McNaughten, Artist
Purchase a litho print of a special commissioned painting titled, "The Underground Railroad". On each side of the track, are people holding lanterns. On the left of the painting are Abolitionists from the past and on the right are Abolitionists from today. Tim Ballard and his wife Katherine are pictured behind the person in the middle. The person in the middle represents YOU. The artist wanted the middle person to reflect the average person who can make an impact in this fight. We can all do something to put an end to modern-day slavery!
